Haha yes it was! I was wanting to print out this photo and frame it for the girl, my parents are good friends with Linda. I also "showed" that day, I was going to take Wrangler, but he got a sore stifle. Alright. Was going to show Pokey, but whenever Pokey leaves Wrangler goes crazy and makes his stifle worse tenfold. SO... Linda was EVER so nice, and let me ride Murphy! He was awesome, he's really well trained... I'm just not use to him, but he did great.

I asked Linda if you still rode, I don't remember why she said you didn't. Why don't you and are you ever going to again?

Haha wow...memories...it was kinda funny when I saw that picture, I honestly did a double take and was all "WOAH! WTF THAT'S PEANUT!" Peanut was always with Prince for the short time Prince was at Jollity, so I got to know both of them. :P
Heh, consider yourself privledged to ride Murphy! I know he's Linda's pride and joy, not many people get to ride him besides herself. But man oh man is he a brat! Every time I went there for a lesson, he'd be nudging me for mints and licking my hand for fives mintues afterward. ;P

I don't ride anymore 'cause really...I ran out of money. o_O I was going through this whole big mess in my life when I gave up Prince, and I was juggling him, a job, a car, a boyfriend, and messed-up family life, and I wasn't really giving Prince the attention he needed...I could only get out there once a week, if that (it takes a quarter tank of gas for me to get to Jollity from Rotonda :faint: ) and I couldn't take working my ass off for a horse I never saw. I didn't ride for awhile just to try to get my life in order, but of course it doesn't work like that...but now that I DO want to ride again, I'm jobless and broke, not to mention my family's having a lot of money problems. *sigh*

I'd love to go back there though...that place was like my second home. It kinda surprised me that I recognized it so quickly from the picture. ^^;

LOL isn't that the truth... we told Linda the evening before that, we weren't going to take Pokey, and wondered if she had a horse I could ride. She offered Murphy, but only if we came that night so she could evaluate my ability, haha! But that's absolutely fine, because I am quite the same with my own horses.

That sucks about your whole situation, but I also understand. It does sound like a pain in the ass, and not worth the effort in the long run. Jobs are pretty good now, I'm sure you could find one :)

I hate how whenever I see pictures of horses that aren't going correctly or are at an awkward/incorrect "horse" pose it makes me not like the picture.

I really like the horses facial markings.
The horse is just sucking back a bit.

I understand, also being a horse person. This was during a free walk and yes, he should have been stretched out more but overall he looks relaxed.
